J. and Steve, best friends forever, stumble into an opportunity when a Mexican pal, recently deported, needs their help to get back across the border. Surprised at how easy it is to fool the Border Patrol agents in Nogales, the guys see it as a chance to corner the market as the 'Kinder, Gentler People Smugglers,' while beating the Minutemen at their own game in the process. Soon enough, J. and Steve learn the real danger in crossing boundaries.
"An atypical story of U.S.-Mexico immigration. 'Coyote' is a wonderful blend of classic thriller and comic satire, served up with a Tex-Mex flair."
- Rich Raddon, Los Angeles Film Festival
"'Coyote' is low-budget and high-impact — clever, serious, and fun, full of head, heart, and soul."
- Joshua Tanzer, Brooklyn Film Festival (OffOffOff.com)
